Global Panel of Advisors
The Global Panel of Advisors (GPA) is a high-level international group of eminent members of our society whose volunteering responsibility is to provide strategic guidance, reach out and encourage member states, donor organizations and interested parties to support, champion UNISWEM, and identify topics of key interest for future independent system-wide evaluation in developing countries. Membership to the GPA is based on evidence of distinguished humanitarian voluntarism.

Prof Dr Michael Jackson
Prof Jackson is a Systems Scientist and Emeritus Professor at the University of Hull. Mike graduated from Oxford University, gained an MA from Lancaster University and a PhD from Hull in systems Sciences, and has worked in the civil service, in academia, and as a consultant. Between 1999 and 2011, Mike was Dean of Hull University Business School, leading it to triple-crown accreditation. Mike has been President of the International Federation for Systems Research and the International Society for the Systems Sciences.» show more
He is a Companion of the Association of Business Schools, a Chartered IT Professional, and a Fellow of the British Computer Society, the Cybernetics Society, the Chartered Management Institute, the Operational Research Society, the International Federation for Systems Research, and the International Academy for Systems and Cybernetic Sciences. Mike has received many awards, two honorary degrees, and has been a visiting professor at numerous international universities.
In 2011 he was awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire Medal) for services to higher education and business. In 2017 he received the Beale Medal of the UK Operational Research Society for 'a sustained contribution over many years to the theory, practice or philosophy of Operational Research.’ In 2022 he received the Pioneer Award of INCOSE. He has been central in developing critical systems thinking (CST).Wiley published his latest book ' Critical Systems Thinking: A Practitioner’s Guide’ in June 2024. » show less

Prof Patrick FitzGerald
Prof FitzGerald whose central role is to provide strategic management and good governance guidance to UNISWEM Secretariat previously held various positions such as a South African Public Service Commissioner, Director-General of the Department of Environmental Affairs, Interim Vice-Chancellor: University of Limpopo, Deputy Vice-Chancellor: University of the Witwatersrand, Chair of Council: Walter Sisulu University, Director of the Wits School of Governance, and Chair of the Performance Audit Committee of ore City of Johannesburg, all in South Africa. He is the author and/or editor of 7 books and several Journal Articles dealing with sustainable development, public service reform, strategy and leadership.

Dr. Marlène Läubli Loud
Marlène Läubli Loud has over 25 years of experience in various aspects of private and public sector evaluation She has consulted with the Swiss Federal and Cantonal health authorities, the European Commission, the UN Joint Inspection Unit, the UK Department of Employment and the UK Health Promotion Agency (now NICE), and, has also collaborated with the World Health Organization, the United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG) on some of their evaluation projects. She was head of the Research and Evaluation Unit at the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (SFOPH) for nearly twenty years where she gained much experience in evaluation management, and especially in the ways and means for improving the use and utility of evaluation in organizations. Dr Laubli Loud who has DPhil also encouraged Dr Wandwasi in 2013 into the specialized area of metaevaluation and provided significant input into Peter’s published paperback book on enhancing the quality of primary evaluations through metaevaluation.
