Our Reporting Process
Given our system-wide coverage which involves all entities of the UN System that carry out the promotion of development as their primary objective and the independent nature of our initiative in terms of supporting UN General Assembly Resolutions and the Secretary General’s supporting note, including, the recognition that all human being are the subjects of the process of development (especially, those with the greatest need), and, where program countries and entities of the United Nations development System (as duty bearers) can no longer be innocent by standers, and, where participating or benefiting citizens can no longer remain mere passive spectating observers, we work independent of the UN Development System at the country level.
We report in the first instance, directly to benefiting and participating citizens by visiting implementation sites of operational activities for development of the UN system, and, in the second instance, we report to representatives of the broader society of citizens through relevant committees of oversight arms of the state(such as national assemblies/parliaments) at the national level. At the global level, we report directly to member states through the second committee on operational activities for development of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of UN General Assembly and share all evaluation reports with the Office of the UN Secretary General.
